Christian Formation for Adults
Grace Church offers a variety of adult classes –we hope you will find one or more that meets your needs. And if you have ideas for classes or groups not listed here, please contact The Rev. Ellen Ekevag.
Fellowship and Formation Time (9:00am Sunday Morning)
September – May
We have found that adults learn best when formation and instruction are provided in several forms, and when the learning approach provides them the opportunity to integrate their spiritual life with the rest of life and to interact with others in the congregation.
Formation Time Opportunities Include: Bible Studies, Book Studies, and Issue related classes.
MID-WEEK OFFERINGS INCLUDE
The Heart of Knowing (HOW Class), This class runs from September to May and each year and focuses on studying the Old Testament, New Testament, Church History, Church Theology.
Adult Membership and Inquirer’s Class, About once a year, we offer a program designed to help participants learn more about membership at Grace Church and in the Episcopal Church.
Seasonal Offerings. During Lent and at other times during the church year, there are opportunities for Bible study, retreats, and discussion groups.
