There is a great potential for growth in evangelism at Grace. At this time, we have no evangelism programs. While we are exceedingly welcoming to new parishioners once they are in the door, we struggle with finding ways to get our message out into the community.
We feel Grace has much to offer potential parishioners, but we have no new member initiatives nor any programs devoted to spreading the gospel. We are interested in networking with other congregations in the area to brainstorm about new ways to grow and evangelize, but this has not yet been put into action. We need leadership and experience in this area, especially considering the incredibly rapid growth of New Lenox and the far southwest suburbs.
We define evangelism as sharing witness to the love and care of the Lord: the Good News in action.
