Worship

The principal act of worship at Grace church is the Eucharist. Services are held twice on Sunday morning, with music at both services. The atmosphere is liturgical and casual. As a congregation, we are open some experimentation within the approved rubrics and cannons of the church.

The music ministry at Grace is small but strong. Service music is somewhat unique, with modern interpretations and original arrangements of hymns supplementing traditional settings. The parishioners feel the role of music in the service is extremely important, and this is reflected in the remarkably high level of participation during hymns and service music; the resulting energetic and sonorous chorus has been lovingly referred to as A Joyful Noise... Our most enthusiastic vocalists from the congregation perform together in choirs for the seasons of Christmas and Easter.

The congregation is accustomed to sermons that focus on teaching theology and history as well as exploring the personal impact of the gospel without straying into political commentary. We truly value the growth in spirit and knowledge that is gained from a rigorously researched sermon.
